Last Saturday, we finally got a little snow and with the first snow, came the first ski lessons for Maggie and Samuel of the year. Brian headed up the canyon and after breakfast, I headed outside with Sadie to play in the snow. Santa brought her snow pants, boots, gloves, etc... and so this was her first official time outside playing in the snow...and she loved it! I enjoyed the day as much as she did. After a little while outside, I pulled her on the sled down the street to my parents' house and surprised them. We visited for awhile and then I pulled her back home. It felt so good being outside, breathing in the fresh, cold air and being surrounded by the simple beauty of a world of white.

We haven't had much snow this winter and I've been missing it! Sounds like a wonderful day.
