We tried out a new pumpkin patch this year, Rasmussen's (and distant cousins on my Dad's side), in our very own little town...anyway the pumpkins have already been harvested from the fields and sit in piles and piles and piles in the yard of the farmer. The kids loved being able to see so many pumpkins all at once, I loved walking around on the grass and not getting anyone dirty, and Brian loved that the pumpkins had price tags on them. Sam and Maggie managed to tip over the wagon several times and luckily only sent the pumpkins rolling and not Sadie...The kids climbed on the piles, lifted dozens of pumpkins or attempted to anyway and just enjoyed themselves.

I love Sadie's expression as she tries to lift the warty one.

It was the perfect Fall day

Getting Sadie to sit for a moment was a miracle in itself
your pumpkin patch looks warmer than ours! :) Sounds like a good set-up, and a fun day!
